When I tell you I love you, I don’t say it out of habit. I say it to remind you that you’re the best thing that ever happened to me.

have a dream
that was
so wonderful
you didn’t want
to wake up?
Loving you
feels like
that kind of dream,
only it’s real…
It’s made up
of everyday moments
all strung together
in a beautiful pattern,
one after the other.

My Darling…
For some, time makes their relationship seem ordinary. They stop doing the special things that caused them to fall in love. You have my promise that every day I’ll do my best to show you the depth of my love in all I do.

Baby, Baby…
Although at times my mind plays games with me about the future, my heart is always certain of what it feels. To the level of my soul I love you, want you and need you… for always.

From the song “Derezzed” by Daft Punk
artworks-000003319765-10475v-t500x500I don’t want to
miss a thing.
Your love
is so amazing,
so amazing.
If we could
spend forever
Live forever,
that’s alright
with me.
I don’t want to
miss a thing.
Your love is
so amazing.

Hearing you at my front door in the first awake minute of my day was a wonderful surprise. With sleep in my eyes and bed hair flying, seeing you started the day off superbly. It’s amazing the difference true love makes.

My Darling…
Being with you has broadened my perception of love. It’s build on a foundation of ordinary things like brushing our teeth together, kissing with morning breath and helping each other make dinner. In such commonality the true magic of love grows.

From “The Secret Life of Prince Charming” by Deb Caletti
couple in kitchenEDIT2244 tumblr_inline_mqar9i2fAg1qz4rgpI used to think that finding
the right one was about the man
having a list of certain qualities.
If he has them, we’d be compatible
and happy. Sort of a checkmark
system that was a complete failure.
But I found out that a healthy
relationship isn’t so much about sense
of humor or intelligence or attractive.
It’s about avoiding partners with
harmful traits and personality types.
And then it’s about being with
a good person. A good person
on his own, and a good person
with you. Where the space
between you feels uncomplicated
and happy. A good relationship
is where things just work.
They work because,
whatever the list of qualities,
whatever the reason,
you happen to be
really, really good together.

My Darling…
I hope me often expressing how I feel does not lessen the words. When I say “I love you”, my heart happily overflows, my eyes twinkle with joy and my soul feels the peace of knowing I am where I should be. You’re ‘the one’ for me.

lovers-hd-wallpaperRomantic writer and poet Yarne Gaskins
Every time I say I love you…
I’m really trying to say so much more than those three little words.
I’m trying to say you mean more to me than anyone else in the world.
I’m trying to let you know that I adore you
and that I cherish the time we spend together.
I’m trying to explain that I want you and that I need you
and that I get lost in wonderful thoughts every time I think about you.
And each time I whisper I love you,
I’m trying to remind you that
you’re the best thing that has ever happened to me.

My Love…
At a glance people don’t notice the difference. They don’t see how much happier and more content I am now. Without looking closely the subtle signs of how much loving you has changed my life are not evident, but they are there.. everywhere… all over me.

From the poem “Because Of You” by Amy S. Bedford
2jbrwaxEDITBecause of you
my world is now whole,
Because of you
love lives in my soul.
Because of you
I have laughter in my eyes,
Because of you
I am no longer
afraid of good-byes.
My love for you is pure
boundless through
space and time,
it grows stronger everyday
with the knowledge
that you’ll always be mine.
