Oh My Darling…
What dream is this? What wish consumes me? What fantasy am I lost in? What fancy have I plunged? What trance have I entered? What vision has blinded me? What delight am I lost within? What daydream have I fallen into? You Baby… YOU.

Darling…
When I think of you and remember all that we shared, my breathing is changed. Sometimes it is heavier. At others I end up trying to catch my breath. It is amazing how my love for you effects me. I feel you deeply.

From the song “You Take My Breath Away” by Patti and Tuck
heart-in-the-dark2Sometimes
it amazes me
How strong
the power of love
can be.
Sometimes
you just take
my breath away.
You’ve watched
my love grow
like a child,
Sometimes gentle
and sometimes wild.
Sometimes
you just take
my breath away.

Darling…
Loving you is something I can’t stop. There is no controlling my heart. It has yearned for you for so long, the only song I sing is of you. Only a mighty love can survive separation and flourish within distance.

By American Romantic Writer and Blogger, James Browning
great love02Brimming with joy;
An innocent wildness;
Anything less, intolerable.
To be untrue
To this great love
The greatest recklessness.
Uncertainly
Certain.
Incautiously
Cautious.
Indiscreetly
Discreet.
I love you
Regardless
And for all time.
Close
Or far.
Together
Or apart.
You own my heart.
Long it has been true;
Far longer it will be.

My Love…
We broke up. Months passed, but neither of us got over the other. Something strong pulled us back toward each other. We’re both cautious now of what might happen, but I know I love you. I’m absolutely certain of that.

One of my favorite writers, poets and philosophers, C. JoyBell C.
love on fire 01They say a good love is one
that sits you down,
gives you a drink of water,
and pats you on top of the head.
But I say a good love is one
that casts you into the wind,
sets you ablaze, makes you burn
through the skies and ignite the night
like a phoenix; the kind
that cuts you lose like a wildfire
and you can’t stop running simply
because you keep on burning everything
that you touch!
I say that’s a good love;
one that burns and flies,
and you run with it!

Sweetheart…
There have been good times and damned difficult ones. Each in its own way honed what we share; shaping and coloring it into an enduring love. It’s not perfect; far from it. But as different as we are, we are perfect for each other.

Taken from the poem “When She Walks By” Patrick Possanza
2jbrwaxEDITSkin so soft;
Soul on fire;
She fills me with
Complete desire.
The way she moves,
The way she looks,
One glance at her
Was all it took.
When she walks by
People stare
At her radiant face
And her ebony hair.
She fills me with
Complete desire;
Skin so soft;
Soul on fire.

My Sweet Baby…
There are times when the simplest expression says the most. Without any doubt, “I love you’… forever.

American poet and author Coco J. Ginger
kiss-1 copyIn love there are no
‘buts’ or ‘if’s’ or ‘when’.
It’s just there, and always.
No beginning, no end.
It’s the condition-less
state of the heart.
Not a feeling that comes
and goes at the whim
of the emotions.
It is there in our heart,
a part of our heart…
eventually grafting itself
into each limb and cell
of our bodies.
Love changes our brain,
the way we move and talk.
Love lives in our spirit
and graces us with its presence
each day, until death.

My Darling…
Sometimes the urge comes to shout “I love you” as loud as I can over and over telling the world my feelings. What’s in my heart is so large how can anyone know the size of it unless I express it far beyond what is considered ‘normal’.

“Love Is a Fire that Burns Unseen” by Luís Vaz de Camões
576 LONGA wound
that aches yet isn’t felt,
An always
discontent contentment,
A pain
that rages without hurting,
A longing
for nothing but to long,
A loneliness
in the midst of people,
A never feeling
pleased when pleased,
A passion that gains
when lost in thought.
It’s being enslaved
of your own free will;
it’s counting
your defeat a victory…
