Difference True Love Makes

Sweetheart…
Hearing you at my front door in the first awake minute of my day was a wonderful surprise. With sleep in my eyes and bed hair flying, seeing you started the day off superbly. It’s amazing the difference true love makes.

love
cannot
be
found
where
it
does
not
exist,
nor
can
it be
denied
where
it
does.

Like Being Made-Over

Love…
…arrives with a sound only those loving can hear, but to them it is a roar so deafening all senses are effected. Sight is more alert, smell more acute, taste is broader and sense of touch is amplified. It is like being made-over, yet with the redo not being readily visible.

From the small book “Meet Me Halfway” by Javan
You have come
into my life
Through a door
I was afraid
Would never
be open again
For many
have slammed it
on their
way out.

Irrelevant and Unmeasured

Love…
…is expressed most fully through the senses. I know it’s meaning well when we hesitate for a long hug when time becomes irrelevant and unmeasured.

“Love Is” by James Browning
Love is intangible,
yet substantial.
Love is invisible,
yet invincible.
Love is mysterious,
yet absolute reality.
Love is unnecessary,
yet there is no life without it.
Through my heart’s fascination with you
the breadth and pinnacle of love
unfolds in ways before unknown.
