She Gives Me Everything

I love…
…to touch the back of your neck and play with your hair as we kiss.  When I do you sigh in a way that tells me how much you enjoy being touched that way.

From the song “And I Love Her” by Paul McCartney and John Lennon
She gives me everything
And tenderly
The kiss my lover brings
She brings to me
And I love her.

Slippery Wet and Soaped Up

I love…
…taking a shower with you and getting all slippery wet and soaped up then embracing with the water running on us.  That is one of the most sensuous experiences of my life.

1883 Letter from Sarah Bernhardt to Jean Richepin
Carry me off
Into the blue skies
Of tender loves,
Roll me in dark clouds,
Tramp me with your thunderstorms,
Break me in your angry rages.
But love me,
My adored love.

A Rosy Dot

I love…
…that you are tall and slender and take such good care of yourself.  Your best years are still ahead and I am grateful to be sharing them with you.

By French Poet Edmond Eugène Alexis Rostand the author of
A kiss,
When all is said,
What is it?
A rosy dot
Placed on the “i” in loving;
‘Tis a secret
Told to the mouth
Instead of to the ear.

Did She Know?

I remember…
…touching your breast through your clothes as we kissed long and passionately in an elevator where I worked.   What sweet naughty fun we had.

From “I Wonder If She Knew” by David L. Weatherford
Did she know I loved her profoundly and unconditionally, not just for her loveliness, sexiness, or intelligence
(all of which I adored),
but more for the grace and goodness that defined her essence to me;
and that I marveled at how animals, children, and adults (young and old)
were drawn to her gentle warmth like flowers to the morning sun?

Give Me A Kiss

I remember…
…always kissing you just before I left for work, when I got home, before we went to sleep and at many, many other times.  Grateful for what was I still wish for more.

From “To Anthea” by Robert Herrick
Give me a kiss, and to that kiss a score;
Then to that twenty, add a hundred more;
A thousand to that hundred; so kiss on,
To make that thousand up a million;
Treble that million, and when that is done,
Let’s kiss afresh, as when we first begun.

Yesterday Remains

I remember…
…I always slept on the left side of the bed and you liked to sleep on the right.  Another little example of how well we “fit”  together.

By an author unknown
As long
As we have memories
Yesterday
Remains.
As long
As we have hope
Tomorrow
Awaits.

Snuggle Close

I remember…
…snuggling up in bed against your naked back side and spooning skin on skin as we drifted off to sleep.

From “Just Snuggle Close” by Tony Parsons
Just snuggle close, on my shoulder
cozy, while the outside grows colder.
Lie cuddled up, toasty and warm.
Stay cradled here, safe in my arms
shielded, away from icy blasts, from winter snows,
sheltered, avoiding cold forecasts.
Just snuggle close.

In Front of the Fireplace

I remember…
…lying on blankets in front of the fireplace with logs burning brightly while we snuggled and enjoyed being close.

From the novel “Anna Karenina” by Leo Tolstoy
He felt now
that he was not
simply close to her,
but that he did not know
where he ended
and she began.

Now That I Love You

I remember…
… how the contour of each cheek of your cute little bottom was a perfect fit for my hand.

Written under the pseudonym “Baby Girl”
When I met you
I was scared to talk to you.
When I talked to you
I was scared to kiss you.
When I kissed you
I was scared to hold you.
When I held you
I was scared to love you.
Now that I love you
I’m scared to loose you.

Your Body Against Mine

I remember…
…when we slow-danced how you would press your body against mine and I could feel your breasts against my chest.

by Dick Stuphen, American writer, poet
Love me without fear
Trust me without questioning
Need me without demanding
Want me without restrictions
Accept me without change
Desire me without inhibitions
For a love so free….
Will never fly away.
