Lazy Sunday mornings are a favorite times. There is something special about skipping church, sleeping in and snuggling in bed with you. Without a single syllable spoken our love is plainly obvious and clearly expressed.

through my soul.
For once, just once,
feel exactly
what I feel,
believe what
I believe,
perceive as
I perceive,
look, experience,
examine, and for once;
just once, understand.

My Darling…
We have our ups and downs, but the good far outweighs the other. There is a rare magic at the center of the love we share. Just seeing your face when we’ve been apart brings delight to my soul and to get a hug soon after is sheer joy.

From an internet post by a writer identified as Amy Clarkson
N7K_3052 NARROWIt’s hard to explain the meaning of love,
so here it goes:
love is that strong feeling you have
in your heart when you’ve fallen
for someone, it feels like something
needing to burst out of your chest
because it’s so uncontrollable,
being apart from them even
for a matter of hours is tough,
because without them in your presence
you don’t feel as safe as you do
when you’re with them, every time
you see them smile it makes you
light up inside, whenever they tell you
they love you it makes you feel like
the luckiest person in the world,
just knowing someone feels
the same way about you
as you do for them,
is the most amazing feeling
and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I finally “felt” what I think Valentine’s Day should be about: love, love and more love between two totally committed partners. Thank you for opening up the doors to a whole new life for me.

My Darling…
The future offers no certainty except the hope I place on it. There in the prospects of what might be I find faith for what will become of us: a man and a woman deeply in love who become a family and share their life’s journey.

American romantic poet and author Coco J. Ginger
want11-378x414I love you,
with no beginning,
no end.
I love you
as you have
become an
extra necessary
organ in my body.
I love you..
Wanting nothing
in return, except
that you allow me
to keep you here
in my heart…

My Darling…
Without my conscious awareness, my heart has been testing you. You have stood by me when I didn’t deserve it. By loving me through my crazy times, you are teaching me what true love is. Thank you Baby.

From a poem by a writer identified only as Amanda Nicole Martinez
Emotional-Scars-300x191editLove me
when I’m happy,
and even when I’m sad.
Love me
when I’m good,
or when I’m oh so bad.
Love me
when I’m pretty,
or if my face is plain.
Love me
when I’m feeling good,
or when I’m feeling pain.

My Darling…
Sometimes I worry about losing you. But you have a special way of setting my mind at ease when you say you love me at just the right moment. Hearing “I’m all yours baby” falls sweetly on my ears.

My Dear…
Can you love me as much as I love you? Can you express your emotions freely? Don’t be afraid! Every loving thought uttered or shown will come back to you multiplied. The more you open yourself to me, the more open to you I become.

19th Century English Romantic poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning
love handHow do I love thee?
Let me count the ways.
I love thee
to the depth
and breadth
and height
My soul can reach…
I love thee freely…
I love thee purely…
I love thee
with the breath,
Smiles, tears,
of all my life!
